What's The Keurig Lawsuit About?
Keurig has settled a $10 Million class action lawsuit over its K-Cup product. Consumers can get a $5 with no proof required by filing a claim form on the official Keurig class action settlement website (see below). For Keurig consumers that qualify, up to a $36 with proof of purchase will be made available in the form of cash compensation.
The Keurig K-Cup class action settlement is the result of a new class action lawsuit regarding labeling and advertising of K Cup® single serve coffee pods labeled as recyclable. Keurig has agreed to settle out of court, but has not admitted to any wrongdoing. Additionally, as a result of the class action, the Court has not decided whether anyone in this case is wrong or right.
How Can I Get Cash Payments?
A. Without Proof of Purchase - Up To $5 per Household
If you elect to receive the Cash Payment and do not have any proof of purchase, such as a receipt, you may be eligible to receive $5 per Household.
B. With Proof of Purchase - Up To $36 per Household
If you elect to receive the Cash Payment and have proof of purchase, such as a receipt, you are eligible to receive $3.50 per 100 pods purchased. The maximum Cash Payment is $36 per Household and the minimum total payment is $6 if you have proof of purchase for your purchases.
How Do I Qualify for Cash?
You are a class action member and are eligible if:
• You purchased K Cup® single serving coffee pods that were labeled as recyclable
• For personal, family or household use not for resale
• During the time period from June 8, 2016, through August 8, 2022.
