What Happened?
The lawsuit alleged that HandsFreeLink systems in certain Acura vehicles failed to shut down properly, causing excessive electrical drain and related losses. American Honda denied the allegations and wrongdoing.
Who Was Covered?
The settlement covered certain purchasers of 2004–2008 Acura TL, 2005–2008 MDX, or 2007–2009 RDX vehicles in California, Kansas, New York, and Washington, subject to age and mileage limits.
