A $1.6 million class action settlement resolved allegations against Saint-Gobain Abrasives, Inc., the manufacturer and marketer of certain Norton-branded abrasive discs, over a claim that the company failed to disclose accurate "best by" or expiration dates on some of the discs. How Much Could Class Members Get?
Each class member who elected a Class Payment could receive up to $50, depending on whether proof of purchase was provided:• With proof of purchase: up to $50 per claim per household, equal to the total purchase value of qualified Norton discs.
• Without proof of purchase: up to $15 per claim per household, at up to $3 per disc for up to five products.
