A landmark class action lawsuit has been reached with Family Dollar, which will provide $25.00 Family Dollar gift cards, once approved, to qualifying class action claimants in valid states that are affected by the settlement. Family Dollar is a major brand owned by its parent company, Dollar Tree, that has been opening up stores at a neck-break pace for the last several years, operating over 16,000 stores in North America.The Family Dollar class action lawsuit alleged that rodents were present and contaminated a major Family Dollar distribution center. The distribution center in question is the one located in West Memphis, Arkansas. To qualify for a payout from the class action settlement, you must have purchased a product that could have potentially been impacted by Family Dollar's Memphis Distribution Center.
While Family Dollar has not acknowledged any wrongdoing as a matter of the 2023 Family Dollar class action settlement, Family Dollar ended up closing hundreds of stores when they found out about the rodent infestation at their Memphis Distribution Center.
