What is The LasikPlus Settlement About?

The FTC (Federal Trade Commission) agreed to a settlement fund with LasikPlus and Joffe MediCenter over allegations brought forward by consumers and the FTC. This settlement was agreed upon in January 2023 and consumers that qualify can file a claim until May 20, 2024.

The FTC alleged that LasikPlus and Joffe MediCenter used bait and switch tactics to entice consumers for LASIK surgery at a cost of less than $300 per eye. However, when people went for LASIK consultations, most learned that the surgery would cost much more than advertised.
