What is The $1.5 Million Naturelo Magnesium Supplement Class Action Settlement?

A $1.5 million class action settlement has been reached over magnesium supplements, some of which were sold on Amazon. The Magnesium supplements class action lawsuit alleged that Naturelo, the distributor of the magnesium supplements, violated New Jersey and California consumer laws by breaching warranties. The class action lawsuit alleged that Naturelo was using deceptive marketing such as labeling that the Naturelo magnesium supplements contained 200mg of magnesium or "glycinate chelate" when the supplements did not.

There is no proof required to file a claim in the magnesium supplements settlement to receive a potential payment of up to $24.95 per household. The relevant magnesium supplements may have been purchased directly from Naturelo, in which case claimants will not need to submit proof of purchase. Naturelo is also sold on Amazon, in which case proof of purchase can be attached to the claim form.

Naturelo, the magnesium supplement producer, denies all wrongdoing and allegations in the class action lawsuit, and does not accept that it violated any statutes in New Jersey, California, or any federal consumer protections. However, they have agreed to a $1,500,000 class action settlement in order to avoid the expenses related to extensive potential class action litigation in the court system.
