What Happened?

The lawsuit concerned a May–June 2023 incident involving a vulnerability in MOVEit Transfer that allegedly allowed unauthorized access to personal information maintained by Paycom. The defendant denied the allegations, liability, and wrongdoing. The parties agreed to settle to avoid the cost, delay, and uncertainty of continued litigation.

The settlement covered living U.S. residents whose personal information was accessed or acquired in the Paycom incident.

What Benefits Were Available?

Class members could seek up to $2,500 for documented out-of-pocket losses, up to $100 for lost time, and up to $4,200 for qualifying extraordinary losses.
