What's the TGI Fridays Class Action About?

A $900,000 class action settlement has been agreed with TGI Fridays. The original Fridays class action lawsuit alleges that certain TGI Fridays branded products were labeled and advertised falsely, violating laws that apply to licensing, promotion and marketing of those TGI Fridays products. The lawsuit specifically alleged that TGI Fridays branded Mozzarella Sticks Corn Snacks were falsely advertised as containing any actual mozzarella cheese. The class action states that the mozzarella sticks only contained cheddar cheese instead.

TGI Fridays was removed as a defendant in the case by the Court, based on the argument that they were only licensing their name "TGI Fridays" and that the manufacturer, Inventure Foods, was a responsible party for the alleged false advertising of the shelf stable mozzarella sticks.

You may qualify for the TGI Fridays Mozzarella Sticks class action settlement if you purchased certain TGI FRIDAYS® Brand Shelf-Stable (not frozen or refrigerated) Bagged Snack Food Products anytime between January 1, 2017 And July 31, 2022. Eligible Products include all shelf stableTGI Fridays brand Snacks of any size, style, flavor, and variety, manufactured, distributed or sold by the licensed manufacturer, Inventure that are or were labeled with the phrase “TGI Fridays Mozzarella Sticks Snacks” which include, but are not limited to the following:

How Much Can I Get Paid?

The TGI Fridays class action lawsuit will make cash payments of $6.00, a maximum of one claim per household, for those that qualify for the settlement. The claim form must be submitted on time and be valid for eligibility.

How Do I File a Claim and Get Paid?

To file a claim and receive payment, follow the link below and file a claim by the deadline of September 25, 2023. Those that qualify for this $900,000 TGI Fridays class action can stand to receive a cut of the allotted settlement fund, after lawyer's expenses, court and administrative fees. Class actions vary in the amount of time it takes to payout. If the TGI Fridays class action does not receive any appeals, the payout process can begin as soon as 90 days after the class action settlement receives final approval from the Court.
