This was a nearly $9 million class action settlement with the makers of Breyers ice cream over allegations that some of their vanilla-flavored ice creams were sold under false pretenses. The lawsuit alleged that Conopco/Unilever's labeling of Breyers Natural Vanilla ice cream misled consumers by implying it contained vanilla flavor only from vanilla plants, when it allegedly contained non-vanilla "plant flavors."
