The March 11, 2024 claim deadline and April 23, 2024 hearing date have passed. The official settlement website still says the court must decide whether to approve the agreement and does not publish a current payment or final-order update. Approval is therefore not inferred from the hearing alone.

What Is This Case About?

Plaintiffs alleged that Knix made misleading statements that certain leakproof products were free of PFAS, fluorine, or toxic chemicals. Knix denied the allegations, denied intentionally adding PFAS, and maintained that its products were safe.

Who Was Included?

The settlement covered U.S. purchasers of specified Knix and KnixTeen leakproof underwear, tights, swim products, or reusable pads between January 1, 2020 and December 31, 2022.

What Was the Benefit?

Approved claims could receive up to $5.30 for each qualifying product, limited to three products and a maximum of $15.90. Payments could be reduced if the available net fund was insufficient.
