Who Qualified for a Payout?
You qualified if you were in the United States and purchased one of the covered bonded abrasive discs for personal use between January 1, 2017 and September 6, 2023. A full list of covered products was published on the official settlement website.How Much Could Class Members Get?
The settlement was divided into two tiers:• Without proof of purchase: $2.50 per product for up to four products, for a total of $10 per claim.
• With proof of purchase: up to $50 per claim.
Payouts were determined by the total number of valid claims and could be adjusted pro rata — higher if fewer claims were filed than expected, lower if more.
Was Proof Required to File a Claim?
