What is the THC & CBD Drops Class Action Lawsuit About?
A $100,000 class action lawsuit has been settled with Curaleaf, Inc., (“Curaleaf”). The original class action lawsuit alleged that Curaleaf manufactured "Select CBD Drops" which were falsely or inappropriately labeled as containing CBD, but in fact they contained THC, also known as tetrahydrocannabinol (THC). THC is the psychoactive ingredient commonly found in marijuana products and can create the "high" that users experience when ingesting it with THC drops. Although the class action lawsuit has already been settled, Curaleaf denies that there is any factual or legal basis for the lawsuit. It is also important to mention that the Court has not determined whether Curaleaf or the class action plaintiffs are correct in their arguments.
