You may be part of a new $3.25 million class action settlement if you visited the popular online telehealth
website LemonaidHealth.com
at any time from June 30, 2019 through July 14, 2025.
According to the class action lawsuit, Lemonaid Health allegedly used tracking technologies, often called
pixels, on its website in a way
that disclosed visitors personally identifiable
information, private and health related information to third parties such as Facebook and Google
without proper
notice or consent.
The information at issue could have included details about conditions you were researching or seeking
treatment for,
services or medications you viewed, your IP address, and identifiers that tied those activities to your
online profiles.
Lemonaid Health denies any wrongdoing, but it has agreed to create a $3.25 million settlement fund rather
than continue
with the risks and costs of further litigation.
Who Is Included in the Settlement?
In general, you are a Pixel Settlement Class Member if you visited
www.LemonaidHealth.com at least once between June 30, 2019 and July 14, 2025.
The settlement does not include Lemonaid Health, its officers and directors, the judge overseeing the
settlement, or anyone
who properly opts out by the deadline. If you are not sure whether you are included, you can contact the
Settlement
Administrator or visit the official website for help.
What Does the Settlement Provide?
If the Court grants final approval, the settlement will create a $3,250,000 fund. That fund will be used to:
• Pay cash benefits to Settlement Class Members who submit valid, timely Claim Forms
• Pay court approved attorneys fees and litigation costs
• Pay court approved service awards to the class representatives, up to a total of $55,000
• Cover the costs of providing notice and administering the settlement
After these deductions, the remaining Net Settlement Fund will be distributed in equal shares to all class
members who file
valid claims.
How to File a Claim
To receive money from this settlement you must submit a Claim Form. You can:
• File a claim online at the official settlement website
• Or download, print, and mail a paper claim form to the administrator
Online Claim Forms must be submitted by 11:59 p.m. Central Time on February 23, 2026. Mailed Claim Forms
must be postmarked
no later than February 23, 2026.
You will be asked for your contact information and to confirm, under penalty of perjury, that you visited
LemonaidHealth.com at least once during the class period. In most cases you will not need to upload
documents such as
screenshots or medical records.
Who is Lemonaid Health and what is Telehealth?
Lemonaid Health is an online medical platform that lets people speak with licensed clinicians for quick and
affordable care. The service offers virtual visits, prescriptions for common health concerns such as UTIs,
anxiety, hair loss, and ED, along with medication delivery. Telehealth allows for health visits with doctors to be done remotely online without needing to go into a physical office.
After 23andMe filed for bankruptcy, the company
was acquired by new owners in late 2025 and now operates within Walgreens. Its goal is to give patients
easy, discreet access to treatment from home for a wide range of needs, including mental health support and
birth control. 23andMe is currently also paying out after allegations that they mishandled user data after a breach to their servers. You can learn about the 23andMe open class Action settlement here.
Do I Need Proof to File a Claim?
For this settlement, class members are not generally required to submit separate documentary proof with the
Claim Form.
Instead, you will:
• Provide your name and contact information
• Confirm that you visited LemonaidHealth.com between June 30, 2019 and July 14, 2025
• Certify that your statements are true and correct
The Settlement Administrator can request additional information if needed to verify claims, but most people
will only need
to complete the form and attestation accurately and on time. Downloadable paper claim forms are available if
you did not receive your Claim ID.
How Much Will I Get Paid?
The exact payment amount is not known yet. After attorneys fees, expenses, service awards, and
administration costs are
deducted, the remaining Net Settlement Fund will be divided equally among all Settlement Class Members who
submit valid
claims.
That means your payment will depend on how many people file valid claims. If relatively few people claim,
individual
payments could be higher. If many people claim, each payment will be smaller. There is no separate tiering
based on how
many times you visited the website or what services you viewed.
When Will Payments Be Sent?
The Court will hold a Final Approval Hearing on January 20, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. Central Time at the United
States
Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Missouri, 111 South 10th St., Courtroom 5 North, St. Louis, MO
63102.
At that hearing, the Court will decide whether to:
• Grant final approval of the settlement
• Approve attorneys fees and costs
• Approve class representative service awards
If the Court approves the settlement and there are no appeals, payments will be issued as soon as reasonably
possible after
the claim deadline and final approval. If there are appeals, payments could be delayed for many months or
longer. There is
no precise payment date yet.
What Are My Options?
If you are in the settlement class, you have four main choices:
• Submit a Claim Form and receive a cash payment if your claim is approved.
• Do nothing. You will give up certain legal rights and receive no payment.
• Opt out of the settlement by January 5, 2026. You keep any remaining rights to bring your own
claims that are
not barred by the bankruptcy proceedings, but you will not receive money from this settlement.
• Object to the settlement by January 5, 2026 if you stay in the class but want to tell the
Court that you do not
like some part of the settlement.
How to Opt Out of the Settlement
If you do not want to be part of this settlement, you can request to be excluded, also called opting out. In
general, your
written opt out request should:
• Include the case name and number
• Provide your name, mailing address, and email address
• State that you are a Pixel Settlement Class Member who visited LemonaidHealth.com during the class
period and that
you want to be excluded from the settlement
• Be signed and mailed by the opt out deadline
Your opt out request must be postmarked no later than January 5, 2026 and mailed to the address listed in
the official
notice. If you opt out, you will not receive any payment from this settlement.
How to Object to the Settlement
If you stay in the class but disagree with some part of the settlement, you can file a written objection
with the Court.
Your objection should generally:
• Include the case name and number
• Provide your contact information
• Explain why you object and what you want the Court to consider
• State whether you or your lawyer plan to appear at the Final Approval Hearing
• Be filed with the Court or mailed to the Clerk by January 5, 2026
If you opt out, you cannot also object.
