What's This Settlement About?

A $1,725,000 settlement has been reached for a class action. The original lawsuit, which has been settled, involved a claim that NautrMed products, manufactured in 2014 and 2015 by Bactolac and sold to consumers by NaturMed, contained ingredients not identified on the product label and did not include certain ingredients required by the product formula, which caused the supplement to be ineffective.

How Do I Qualify?

You are part of the Settlement if you are a Person in the United States who purchased one or more canisters of ADEG (All Day Energy Greens) that were manufactured as part of the Recalled Lots. Lots are specific batches of the product. This includes 99 lots included in the March 2016 voluntary product recall of ADEG (All Day Energy Greens) conducted by NaturMed with the knowledge of the Food and Drug Administration. What Can I Get?

Bactolac Pharmaceutical, Inc. (“Bactolac”), NaturMed, Inc. (d/b/a Institute for Vibrant Living) (“NaturMed”), and Independent Vital Life ("IVL") have agreed to pay $1,725,000 into a Settlement Fund. Eligible Settlement Class Members will have the choice to claim a credit worth $10.00 toward purchase of any IVL2 product, which will remain valid for three years, or $5.00 cash.

How Do I File a Claim?

To qualify for a Settlement payment or receive a Settlement Credit, you must have submitted a Claim Form by May 20, 2022. The Court held a Final Approval Hearing at 3:00 p.m. on May 19, 2022, at the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York.
