The lawsuit alleged that Buck Knives, a seller and manufacturer of knives, of misleading people to believe that their knife-sheaths combinations that they purchased were made entirely in the U.S.A., when in fact the sheaths were allegedly manufactured in Mexico.Buck Knives is an American knife manufacturer. What Can I Get?
Under the proposed Settlement, Class Members who submit a valid claim by June 1, 2022, will receive up to $10.00 per qualifying Buck Knives knife-sheath combination purchased for personal use, up to a maximum of three knives per person and six knives per household for a total of $60.How Do I File a Claim?
You can file a claim submitted no later than June 1, 2022 online or by mail to the Settlement Administrator at the address listed on the official settlement website.You are also required to submit:
• Proof of purchase; OR
• A photograph of each knife-sheath combination claimed that exhibits the stamp on the right side of the blade of the knife and depicts any form of photo identification of the claimant.
The Court will hold a Final Approval Hearing at 1:30 p.m. on August 8, 2022.
