If you received telemarketing texts from QuoteWizard while your number was on the National Do Not Call Registry, you may be owed substantial cash from a new Quote Wizard class action settlement. The company has settled a class action over allegations that it sent these texts without consent, allegedly violating the Telephone Consumer Protection Act.
You may be eligible for compensation if your phone number is one of the 66,746 identified numbers that received more than one telemarketing text promoting QuoteWizard's services within a 12-month period.
You are entitled to approximately $76 for the first two texts received, with an additional $38 for each extra text. Exact amounts depend on the number of texts received and deductions from the $19 million Settlement Fund.
