Owners of certain 2025–2026 Ford Super Duty trucks and 2026 F-150 and F-750 trucks with an analog instrument cluster can get a free cluster replacement because the speedometer and tachometer may stick or move erratically. Ford expects the fix to be ready in December 2026, and owners can check their VIN on NHTSA.gov now.

What Is Being Recalled?

Ford Motor Company filed a safety recall with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration on October 6, 2026, covering 102,159 trucks: certain 2025 and 2026 F-250, F-350, F-450 and F-550 Super Duty and F-600 trucks, plus certain 2026 F-150 and F-750 Super Duty trucks. NHTSA lists the recall as campaign 26V653.

According to the recall report, the analog cluster’s tachometer and speedometer may become stuck or move erratically, giving the driver inaccurate readings. A speedometer that fails to display accurate vehicle speed can increase the risk of a crash. Because of the defect, the trucks do not comply with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 101, which governs controls and displays.
