If you got a notice about the 2023 Oak View Group data breach — most recipients are current or former employees — you can file for up to $5,000 or a cash payment through August 15, 2026.
The settlement covers individuals who were sent notice that their personal information was involved in the November 2023 Oak View Group data incident. Reporting indicates roughly 58,935 current and former employees were affected. If you received a settlement notice with a Notice ID or similar identifier, you are likely a class member; check the official settlement website to confirm.
Class members can claim reimbursement of up to $5,000 for documented out-of-pocket losses fairly traceable to the breach, plus a one-time pro rata cash payment estimated at about $150 for California residents and about $50 for residents of other states. All class members can also enroll in two years of CyEx Identity Defense Complete credit monitoring with $1 million in identity-theft insurance. Actual amounts may vary based on the number of valid claims.
The claim deadline is August 15, 2026. Claims can be filed online through the official settlement website or by mailing a paper Claim Form postmarked by that date. The court's final approval hearing is scheduled for August 13, 2026.
According to the settlement notice, the November 2023 cyberattack on Oak View Group's systems may have exposed personal information including full names, dates of birth, Social Security numbers, demographic information, and driver's license or state or federal identification numbers.
