TOMY International, which owns the Boon baby-products brand, announced a voluntary recall of about 40,000 Boon NURSH 8 oz reusable silicone baby bottles on June 4, 2026, in cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC). The recall covers only the Pink Tie Dye 3-pack, model B11654, which was sold exclusively at Walmart stores nationwide and on Walmart.com from November 2025 through May 2026 for about $20.
The problem is the bottle's hard plastic outer shell: it can bubble or partially peel off, creating loose pieces of film-like plastic that pose a choking hazard to babies and young children. TOMY has received 135 reports of the outer shell bubbling or peeling. No injuries have been reported.
Parents who own the recalled bottles should stop using them immediately and register on TOMY's official recall site for the remedy — either a $22 booninc.com store credit or a free replacement NURSH 3-pack in a solid color.
The recall is limited to one product: the Boon NURSH Silicone Bottle 8 oz 3-pack in the Pink Tie Dye color pattern. Check the bottom of the packaging for:
• Item number B11654
• UPC 669028116546
Other NURSH colors, sizes, and sales channels are not included in the recall. If you bought a pink tie-dye NURSH 3-pack at Walmart (in store or online) between November 2025 and May 2026, your bottles are almost certainly affected.
TOMY is offering affected consumers their choice of two remedies:
• A refund in the form of a $22 store credit redeemable on booninc.com — no sales tax or shipping is charged on orders of $22 or less; or
• A free replacement NURSH 3-pack in a solid color — Pink Iridescent or Pink, depending on availability.
No receipt or proof of purchase is needed, and you should not return the bottles to Walmart — the remedy runs entirely through TOMY's recall site, not the store. Here is the process from start to finish:
- Check your bottles Only the Pink Tie Dye NURSH 8 oz 3-pack is recalled — model B11654, UPC 669028116546, printed on the bottom of the packaging. Other colors and sizes are not affected.
- Stop using them immediately Keep the bottles away from your baby while you complete the remedy steps.
- Write "RECALL" on the bottles Mark each affected bottle clearly with a marker.
- Photograph the marked bottles This photo is the documentation the form requires — no receipt needed.
- Register on TOMY's recall site Start the remedy process on the official recall page, upload your photo, and certify that the bottles have been disposed of.
- Choose your remedy Pick the $22 booninc.com store credit or the replacement solid-color 3-pack, then dispose of the recalled bottles.
Baby-product safety issues are unfortunately common; OCA also covers the Safety 1st Grow & Go Sprint car seat recall, another child-product recall driven by a choking hazard.
Which Boon NURSH baby bottles are being recalled?
The recall covers about 40,000 Boon NURSH Silicone Bottle 8 oz 3-packs in the Pink Tie Dye color pattern, model B11654, UPC 669028116546 (printed on the bottom of the packaging). They were sold exclusively at Walmart stores and on Walmart.com from November 2025 through May 2026 for about $20. Other NURSH colors and sizes are not included.
Why are the Boon NURSH bottles being recalled?
The hard plastic outer shell of the bottle can bubble or partially peel off, creating loose pieces of film-like plastic that pose a choking hazard to young children. TOMY has received 135 reports of bubbling or peeling. No injuries have been reported.
What is the remedy for the Boon NURSH recall?
Consumers can choose either a refund in the form of a $22 store credit redeemable on booninc.com or a free replacement NURSH 3-pack in a solid color (Pink Iridescent or Pink, depending on availability). Registration is handled on TOMY's official recall website. Neither sales tax nor shipping is charged on booninc.com orders of $22 or less when using the store credit.
Do I need a receipt to get the Boon NURSH recall remedy?
No receipt is required, but documentation is. To qualify for the store credit or replacement set, you must submit a photo of your affected NURSH bottles with the word RECALL written on them and certify that the bottles have been disposed of. The form is on TOMY's official recall website.
What should I do with the recalled bottles?
Stop using the recalled bottles immediately. Write RECALL on them, photograph them for the remedy form, then dispose of them. Do not return them to Walmart — the remedy is handled through TOMY's recall website, not in stores.
