A new class action lawsuit involves Palmer's Stretch Mark lotions. According to the lawsuit, Palmer's has been misleading consumers about product that is marketed to “help reduce the appearance of stretch marks.” The lawsuit claimed that the product packaging for Palmer's Stretch Mark lotions was false and deceptive in that it led purchasers to believe that their products, which include creams, lotions, and butters, prevent stretch marks and reduce their appearance.

Palmer's is a brand marketed in over 80 countries around the world. Palmer's markets their cosmetics as containing the highest quality formulas at affordable prices, while promising their customers an unconditional guarantee of quality.

How Do I Qualify?

If you purchased "Palmer's" branded products (not for resale) in the United States between December 31, 2016, and March 15, 2022 which stated slogans such as “for stretch marks” or “helps reduce the appearance of stretch marks” on the labels. This includes products such as:

• Palmer's Massage Lotion for Stretch Marks
• Palmer's Massage Cream for Stretch Marks
• Palmer's Tummy Butter for Stretch Marks

What Can I Get?

Settlement Class Members may elect either Tier 1 or Tier 2 Benefit, subject to further adjustments or reductions:

• Tier 1 - Settlement Class Members who elect to fill out the Claim Form for Tier 1 and do not have valid Proof of Purchase may recover up to a maximum of $3 per Unit for up to 2 Units - a maximum of $6 per Household; or

• Tier 2 - Settlement Class Members who elect to fill out the Claim Form for Tier 2 and do have valid Proof of Purchase may recover up the full original purchase price per Unit for up to five Units.

How Do I File a Claim?

To qualify for this no proof class action settlement, you must have submitted a claim form online or postmarked by June 13, 2022, at 11:59 p.m. Central Time.

The Court held a final approval hearing on June 23, 2022, in Illinois.
