What Happened?

The lawsuit followed alleged unauthorized access to AUS systems and personal information in November 2022. AUS denied wrongdoing and agreed to settle.

Who Was Covered?

The class included qualifying people notified that their personal information may have been accessed in the AUS data incident.

What Benefits Were Available?

Approved claims could include ordinary or extraordinary documented losses, lost-time compensation, a $115 alternative cash payment, and two years of credit monitoring.

How Claims Were Filed

Claims had to be submitted by February 25, 2025. Payments were later mailed or released electronically in August 2025.
