If you received a Cash App referral program text message as a Washington resident from November 14, 2019 you
may be owed up to $147 per claim. Cash App and its parent company, Block, Inc., have settled a class action
over allegations that it assisted users in sending unsolicited commercial text messages without recipients'
clear and affirmative opt in consent.
The total settlement amount is $12.5 million.
You may be eligible for up to a $147 payout if:
• You received a Cash App referral program text message from November 14, 2019,
• You were a Washington resident at the time.
• You did not clearly and affirmatively consent to receive the text message.
Settlement Class Members who file valid claims may receive an estimated payment between $88 and $147,
depending on the number of valid claims submitted.
If you believe you qualify and are part of the Cash App text messages class action you can file a claim by

You may be required to provide your claims code (if available), the phone number where you received the text
message, and/or attest to meeting the eligibility criteria.
