Founded in 1919 and headquartered in Wadsworth, Ohio, Cornwell supplies hand tools, tool storage, power tools, and automotive equipment primarily to mechanics and technicians. The company distributes its products through independent dealers who operate mobile tool trucks as well as through online sales. In this settlement, Cornwell Quality Tools is the defendant accused of failing to safeguard personal identifying information during the data breach. CQT denies wrongdoing but agreed to a settlement to resolve the claims.

All claims must be submitted online or postmarked by November 27, 2025.

Who Is Included?

All individuals in the United States whose PII was impacted by the Data Incident and who were sent notice, excluding CQT officers and directors, timely opt-outs, the presiding judge, and government entities and their immediate families.
