What Is This Settlement About?

Dynatrace, Inc. — the software observability company — entered a settlement to resolve a collective action filed under the federal Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) on behalf of its current and former sales development representatives (SDRs). The case, captioned Santiago v. Dynatrace, Inc., No. CACE26002654, was filed in the Circuit Court of the 17th Judicial Circuit in and for Broward County, Florida. The lawsuit alleges that Dynatrace failed to properly pay SDRs for overtime hours worked.

Dynatrace denies the allegations and contends that it paid all employees correctly; it says it entered the settlement to avoid litigation costs and business disruption, and the court has not made any finding of wrongdoing or any ruling on the merits. The claim deadline was June 26, 2026, so the claim window is now closed. This page is kept for reference; SDRs who submitted a timely Consent to Join Settlement, Release, and Claim Form will be paid by the settlement administrator after the claim review process is complete.

Status Settlement Closed
Claim Deadline June 26, 2026 (passed)
Estimated Payment Varies By weeks worked as an SDR and the state where you worked
Proof Required Yes CPT ID and Passcode from the mailed notice to file

Who Qualified?

The settlement collective covered current and former SDRs who worked for Dynatrace, Inc. in the United States at any time from October 29, 2022 through November 19, 2025 under any of the covered job titles: Sales Development Coordinator I, Sales Development Coordinator II, Sales Development Specialist, Sales Development Analyst II, Sales Development Analyst III, Sales Development Representative 1, Sales Development Representative 2, Sales Development Representative 3, Sales Development Representative 4, and Senior Sales Development Coordinator.

Because this was an FLSA collective action, eligible SDRs had to affirmatively opt in by returning the Consent to Join Settlement, Release, and Claim Form. Those who did nothing did not receive a payment and did not release any claims.

How Much Could Participants Get?

Each participating SDR's estimated settlement payment varied based on the number of applicable weeks they were employed as an SDR during the settlement period and the state in which they worked. The exact estimated amount was printed on each eligible person's mailed claim form. The settlement administrator mails payments after the claim review process is complete.
