Payout: Up to $250.00

This settlement resolves claims that certain Keurig K-Supreme coffee makers could permanently lose power during descaling. Descaling is the process of cleaning the coffee maker. Descaling Keurig denies all allegations but agreed to provide compensation and extended warranties. The following Keurig coffee makers are included in the settlement:
• K-Supreme
• K-Supreme Plus
• K-Supreme SMART
The total Keurig settlement amount is estimated to be just under $1,000.000.
You may be eligible if you owned one of the affected Keurig coffee makers at any time between October 1, 2020, and June 20, 2025. Cash payments are for those who experienced a qualifying malfunction and were not already compensated by Keurig; all other purchasers may be eligible for an extended warranty. For those that malfunctioned after June 20, 2025, you may be eligible for an extended warranty if you purchased a qualifying coffee maker.
How Do I Find Class Action Settlements?
Find all the latest class actions you can qualify for by getting notified of new lawsuits as soon as they are open to claims:
Performance Issue Claim Class: Up to $250 cash payment. The amount may be reduced proportionally if the total valid claims exceed the settlement fund.
Coffee Maker Purchaser Class: 12-month extended warranty for qualifying future malfunctions. This is for those claimants that have not had any issues with their coffee maker, but still purchased one of the models during the class period.
Submit a claim form online or by mail by November 14, 2025 (for malfunctions before June 20, 2025) or by September 30, 2027 (for malfunctions that may occur after June 20, 2025). Claim forms and instructions are available at the settlement website.
No, if you purchased a qualifying coffee maker after June 20, 2025, you would not be eligible for the Performance Issue Claim Class and its cash payment of up to $250. This is specifically for individuals who purchased their coffee maker between October 1, 2020, and June 20, 2025 and experienced a malfunction during the descaling process.
However, if your coffee maker malfunctions after June 20, 2025, you may still qualify for the Coffee Maker Purchaser Class, which provides a 12-month extended warranty for future malfunctions, as long as you submit a claim by September 30, 2027.
Yes, proof is required to submit a claim for either class. Here's what you need:
• Performance Issue Claim Class (Cash Payment):
You must provide documentation proving that your coffee maker experienced an operational malfunction during the descaling process.
This includes any complaints lodged with Keurig and evidence that the malfunction occurred within the first 12 months of purchase.
• Coffee Maker Purchaser Class (Extended Warranty):
You need to provide proof of purchase for the coffee maker or descaling solution during the class period (October 1, 2020, to June 20, 2025).
If your coffee maker malfunctions after June 20, 2025, you must also provide documentation of the malfunction to make a warranty claim.
All required information is included on the claim form, which can be submitted online or by mail.
