What Did the Settlement Resolve?
The settlement resolved allegations that Monsanto falsely advertised certain Roundup®, HDX®, and Ace® weed and grass killer products by failing to disclose alleged health risks associated with glyphosate. Monsanto denied wrongdoing. The court granted final approval in March 2023, and the appeals later concluded.How Were Awards Calculated?
The notice described product-specific payments equal to roughly 20% of weighted average retail prices. Per-unit amounts ranged from $0.50 to $33, subject to product, purchase location, documentation, claim limits, and possible pro-rata adjustment. The administrator—not claimant reports—controls the final approved amount.What If a Payment Failed?
The official payment FAQ says failed or returned ACH payments are automatically reissued as paper checks to the address supplied with the claim.
