How Does the Replacement Work?

Baby Brezza’s recall page asks owners to stop using the dryer even if it seems to work normally, turn it off and unplug it, and store it in a dry place away from anything flammable. To register, the owner completes the recall form and uploads a photo of the label on the bottom of the appliance showing the model number. Baby Brezza says no receipt is needed. Its customer service team then emails a return authorization number with further instructions.

The CPSC notice adds that owners will be asked to cut the power cord to destroy the unit and send photos of the model-number label and the destroyed appliance, along with the return authorization number, before disposing of it under local and state rules. Baby Brezza’s page asks owners to wait until its team has confirmed the product may be disposed of. The replacement ships free. The CPSC notice does not set an end date for the remedy.
