Dorel Home Furnishings has recalled the Cosco 2-Step Kitchen Stepper because the safety bar can detach or break while in use. This poses a serious fall and injury hazard, with at least 34 reported incidents, including two head injuries.

They were sold in white/gray, green, navy, and blue at major retailers including Target, Home Depot, Lowe's, Walmart, BJ's Wholesale Club, and online at Amazon, Wayfair, and Overstock between February 2021 and July 2025 for $56–$70.

The stepper has a metal frame with two steps, a white plastic top step, and a safety bar on the back. The model number is located on a label on the underside of the top step.
