What Is Being Recalled?
Hesung Innovation Corp., which sells under the DREO brand, recalled about 338,800 DR-HSH015 space heaters in the United States on October 29, 2026, in cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. About 36,300 more were sold in Canada. The CPSC says the heaters can overheat and ignite, posing fire and burn hazards. DREO has received 17 reports of the heaters igniting, three of which caused property damage and one of which caused a burn injury to a hand. Which DREO Heaters Are Included?
The recall covers one model, the DREO DR-HSH015. It is a black ceramic electric space heater about 11.5 inches wide and 13 inches tall, with “DREO” on the front, and it came with a remote control. Only heaters manufactured from April 2025 through January 2026 are included.The label on the heater’s underside shows the model number and the manufacture date in YYYY/MM format. A heater whose label reads DR-HSH015 with a date from 2025/04 through 2026/01 is part of the recall; the same model with a date outside that range is not.

How can I tell if my DREO space heater is recalled?
Check the label on the heater's underside. The recall covers model DR-HSH015 with a manufacture date, printed in YYYY/MM format, from April 2025 (2025/04) through January 2026 (2026/01). A DR-HSH015 made outside that range is not part of the recall.
