What Happened?

The lawsuit concerned unauthorized access to Advanced Medical Management databases in May 2023 and alleged that the defendant did not use reasonable safeguards for personal identification, medical, and health-insurance information. The defendant denied the allegations and wrongdoing. The parties agreed to settle to avoid the cost, delay, and uncertainty of continued litigation.
