Cencora and Lash Group Settlement Payments Pushed Back Again, Now Expected in November 2026

Published October 19, 2026

People who filed claims in the $40 million Cencora and Lash Group data breach settlement learned in October 2026 that payments are now expected to begin in November 2026, the fourth target month the administrator has given. The court has already granted final approval, and no claims can be added.

What Is This About?

The administrator of the $40 million settlement in Anaya, et al. v. Cencora, Inc., et al., No. 2:24-cv-02961-CMR (E.D. Pa.), posted an update on the official settlement website dated October 16, 2026. It says that, because of the large volume of claims, the administrator is still processing claim forms and anticipates being able to begin distributing settlement proceeds to eligible claimants in November 2026.

That replaces the October 2026 estimate in the administrator’s September 29, 2026 update. Claimants have been watching the date move for months: the settlement website’s estimate was August 2026 in July, then September, then October, and now November.

Why the Payment Date Keeps Moving

Each update has given the same reason: the volume of claims. The court granted final approval after the February 5, 2026 fairness hearing, so the approval step is finished; what remains is the administrator’s review of claim forms before money goes out. None of the updates gives a specific day, and a month given as an anticipated start is not a promise that every claimant will be paid that month.

No source found as of October 19, 2026 shows that any payments have been issued.

Who Will Be Paid, and How Much

The settlement resolves claims over a data security incident involving Cencora, Inc. and its subsidiary The Lash Group, LLC. The defendants denied the claims and settled without admitting wrongdoing. Class members who filed a valid claim by January 19, 2026 chose either reimbursement of documented losses of up to $5,000 or a cash fund payment that required no documentation, and could not claim both. Cash fund payments are pro rata, so their size depends on the number of valid claims, and the administrator has not published a per-person amount.

The full benefit terms, the claim status of individual claims and any later updates are on the official Cencora settlement website, run by the court-approved administrator, Kroll Settlement Administration. OpenClassActions.com tracks the settlement on its Cencora and Lash Group settlement page.

What Happens Next?

If the November estimate holds, the administrator would begin sending payments to approved claimants. The settlement website is where the administrator has posted every timing change so far, and this page will be updated when payments are confirmed or the estimate moves again.

Questions

Is November 2026 a firm payment date for the Cencora settlement?

No. The administrator says it anticipates being able to begin distribution in November 2026. That is an estimate, the same kind of estimate that has already moved three times, and the update does not give a specific day or say how long distribution will take once it starts.

Why is the Cencora settlement payment taking so long?

The administrator’s explanation has been the same in each update: it received a large volume of claims and is still processing the claim forms. The court granted final approval after a February 5, 2026 hearing, so the remaining delay is on the claims-review side.

Can new claims still be filed in the Cencora settlement?

No. The claim deadline was January 19, 2026. Only people who filed a valid claim by then will be paid when distribution begins.

How much will each Cencora claimant receive?

The administrator has not published a per-person amount. Documented-loss claims are capped at $5,000, and cash fund payments are divided pro rata among valid claims, so their size depends on how many people filed.
