What Is Being Recalled?

Nara Organics, of New York, NY, is voluntarily recalling all cans of its Nara Organics Whole Milk Powdered Infant Formula currently available in the United States. The recall covers both sizes — the 700g can (UPC 860013251901) and the 400g can (UPC 860013251918) — across every lot code. The formula was sold nationwide at Target stores, Target.com, and Nara.com.

The company is urging parents to stop using all Nara Organics infant formula immediately. According to Nara, the FDA shared epidemiological information on June 12, 2026 about three cases of infant botulism in babies whom the CDC reported had consumed Nara infant formula. Infant botulism is a rare but serious illness caused by the bacterium Clostridium botulinum. Nara says that, as of its recall notice, no Nara formula had tested positive for C. botulinum, and that it issued the recall in an abundance of caution. Nara is working with the FDA, the CDC, and state health departments, and says it will provide updates as more information becomes available.

Health Information — Symptoms to Watch For

Nara advises that if your baby has consumed Nara formula and is showing symptoms of infant botulism, you should contact your healthcare provider for immediate care. Reported symptoms of infant botulism include, but are not limited to, constipation, poor feeding, drooping eyelids (ptosis), sluggish pupils, low muscle tone, difficulty sucking and swallowing, a weak or altered cry, generalized weakness, difficulty breathing, and in severe cases respiratory arrest.

Recalled Lot Codes

Nara is recalling all of its infant formula regardless of lot. The company has identified the following lot codes, and says the three specific lots the affected infants were exposed to are 709125280E14F2, 709125288E14F2, and 708125174E14F2:

408125075E14F2 · 708125076E14F2 · 708125083E14F2 · 408125139E14F2 · 708125141E14F2 · 708125145E14F2 · 708125174E14F2 · 709125273E14F2 · 709125280E14F2 · 709125288E14F2 · 409125307E14F2 · 70926019ENNB · 70926029ENNB · 70926035ENNB · 70926039ENNB · 70926042ENNB

How to Get a Refund

How you get your money back depends on where and when you bought the formula:

• Nara.com orders in May or June 2026 — Nara says these have been refunded automatically, with any in-process orders canceled and refunded. Funds should return to your original payment method within about 10–15 days.
• Nara.com orders in March or April 2026 — take a photo of the bottom of each can (showing the lot number) and submit it, along with your order number, through the refund request form on the official Nara recall page.
• Target purchases — if you bought 700g cans of Nara at Target, return them to your local Target store or follow Target's online return instructions. Target did not sell the 400g cans.

For any other questions about the recall or the refund process, use the contact form on the official Nara recall page rather than searching for a phone number or email.

What Happens Next?

The investigation is ongoing. Nara says it is coordinating with the FDA, the CDC, and state health departments, and that its recall page will be updated as new information and guidance become available. Parents should not feed any Nara Organics infant formula to their babies while the recall is in effect, even if a can is not on the specific list of exposed lots, because the recall covers all Nara infant formula sold in the U.S.
