What Is Being Recalled?

Sanven Technology Ltd. of Rancho Cucamonga, California recalled about 1,950 Vevor-branded BMX bicycles on November 5, 2026, in a recall announced by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. The CPSC says the bikes violate the mandatory federal safety regulation for bicycles because they are not equipped with a chain guard, so loose clothing can get caught in the chain drive, posing a risk of serious injury or a deadly crash. The bikes also do not comply with federal labeling requirements.

No incidents or injuries have been reported. The remedy is a free repair kit with chain guards and installation instructions.
