If you stocked up on Winco fireworks for the Fourth of July, check your leftovers before you light them — two popular products were recalled just before the holiday and can be returned for a full refund.
Two products in two July 2, 2026 CPSC recalls: the Unity 7-Shot 200-Gram Aerial Cake, model MEF6096 (about 87,120 units), and the Roman Candles 8-Shot sold in 3-packs (about 13,500 units). Together the recalls cover about 100,620 units.
Both products pose explosion and burn hazards. The Unity 7-Shot Aerial Cake can tip over while firing, and the Roman Candles can send shots out the side of the tube. Either failure can cause serious injury or burns to nearby people.
Stop using the recalled fireworks and return them to the store where you bought them for a full refund, issued in cash or to your original form of payment. There is no online claim form.
Look under the barcode on the back of the package for model number MEF6096 and a date code between 03.16.2026 and 05.18.2026.
