What is the Posh Group Ticket Fee Settlement?

Posh Group, Inc. has agreed to pay $1,200,000 to settle a class action lawsuit alleging that the company charged California ticket buyers additional service fees that were not disclosed in the advertised ticket price — a practice commonly called "drip pricing" or "hidden junk fees." The case is Rahil Doctor v. Posh Group, Inc., Case No. 25STCV21463, pending in the Superior Court of California, County of Los Angeles, before the Honorable Laura A. Seigle.

Posh Group denies the allegations and maintains its fee practices were lawful, but agreed to settle to avoid the cost, risk, and disruption of continued litigation. The Court has preliminarily approved the settlement and authorized notice to the class.

The deadline to submit a Payment Election Form is July 7, 2026. The deadline to exclude yourself from the settlement or file an objection is June 8, 2026. The Final Approval Hearing is scheduled for September 28, 2026.

Who Qualifies for the Settlement?

You may be a Settlement Class Member if all of the following are true:

• You were a resident of the State of California.
• You purchased a ticket from Posh Group, Inc. for an event held in California.
• Your purchase occurred between July 21, 2021 and June 13, 2025.
• You were charged fees that were not included in the advertised ticket price (excluding mandatory taxes).

If you received a Notice by email or regular mail from ILYM Group, Inc. (the court-appointed Settlement Administrator), you have been preliminarily identified as a Settlement Class Member. Even if you did not receive a notice, you may still submit a Payment Election Form on the official settlement website if you believe you qualify.

How Much Money Will I Get?

The total Settlement Fund is $1,200,000. After deducting Court-approved attorneys' fees, costs, the service award to the class representative, and settlement administration expenses, the net fund will be distributed to Settlement Class Members who timely submit a valid Payment Election Form.

Each eligible class member is expected to receive up to $15, subject to pro rata adjustment. The exact per-person amount will depend on the total number of valid Payment Election Forms submitted by the July 7, 2026 deadline. If fewer class members claim, per-person payments may go up; if more claim than expected, payments will be reduced on a pro rata basis.

How Do I File a Claim?

You must submit a Payment Election Form on or before July 7, 2026. You can file online or by mail.

Official website: ticketfeesettlement.com

To file online, you will need the ILYM ID and Unique Claim ID printed on the Notice that ILYM Group sent you by email or mail. On the Payment Election Form, you will select how you would like to receive your payment from the options offered by the Settlement Administrator (check sent by mail and/or available electronic payment options listed on the settlement website). Read each option carefully — once selected, your payment method generally cannot be changed.

If you did not receive a Notice and believe you qualify, use the contact link on the settlement website to reach the Settlement Administrator and request instructions for filing without a pre-assigned Claim ID.

Is Proof Required?

No. You do not need to upload a receipt or ticket confirmation to file a claim. Eligibility is verified against Posh Group's own records of California ticket purchases during the class period. Submitting the Payment Election Form with accurate information under penalty of perjury is all that is required.

What if My Claim ID or ILYM ID Doesn't Work?

If you received a Notice but your Claim ID or ILYM ID isn't being accepted on the settlement website, try the following before giving up:

• Check the code for easily confused characters — zero (0) vs. the letter O, the number 1 vs. lowercase L, and I vs. 1 are the most common mix-ups.
• Copy and paste the IDs directly from the email notice and trim any leading or trailing spaces.
• Confirm the email address or last name you are entering matches what was on your original Posh account, not your current information.
• Try loading the site in a private or incognito window to rule out a stale browser session.
• If you are sure you qualify but did not receive a notice, use the "Contact Us" link on the settlement website to request a replacement notice or filing instructions.

Do not wait until the last day — ID and eligibility lookups can take several business days to resolve.

What are the Important Dates?

Class Period: July 21, 2021 to June 13, 2025
Exclusion / Opt-Out Deadline: June 8, 2026
Objection Deadline: June 8, 2026
Payment Election Form Deadline: July 7, 2026
Final Approval Hearing: September 28, 2026

When Will Payments Be Sent?

Payments will be issued approximately 60 days after the Court grants final approval of the settlement, assuming no appeals are filed. Final approval is scheduled to be considered at the hearing on September 28, 2026, which means eligible claimants should expect payments in late 2026 or early 2027. Updates will be posted on the official settlement website.

What Happens If I Do Nothing?

If you qualify but do not submit a Payment Election Form by July 7, 2026, you will not receive a payment from this settlement, and you will still be bound by its terms — meaning you will release your claims against Posh Group relating to the alleged undisclosed fees. If you want to keep your right to sue Posh separately, you must submit a written exclusion request by June 8, 2026. If you want to object to the settlement terms, you must submit a written objection by the same June 8, 2026 deadline.
