What Is the Nectar & DreamCloud Mattress Settlement About?
Did you buy a Nectar, DreamCloud, Siena, CloverLane, or Awara mattress or sleep
product at an advertised discount price between March 2021 and April 2026? You may be
eligible for a $30 voucher from a class action settlement covering all five Resident
Home mattress brands. The deadline to file a claim is July 10, 2026.
The mattress class action lawsuit, captioned Regina Molloy v. Resident Home,
LLC, Case No. 25CU057416N, is pending in the Superior Court of the State of
California, County of San Diego. The lawsuit alleges that Resident Home (the parent
company of Siena Sleep, Nectar Sleep, DreamCloud Sleep, CloverLane, and Awara Sleep)
engaged in false reference pricing by displaying inflated "original" or "list" prices
on its e-commerce websites and then offering deceptive discounts from those inflated
prices.
Class Representative Regina Molloy alleges this conduct violated California's Unfair
Competition Law (Business & Professions Code 17200 and 17500) and the Consumer
Legal Remedies Act (Civil Code 1750). Resident Home denies all allegations and any
wrongdoing, and is settling without admitting liability. The court has not decided
which side is right. The Settlement Administrator is Angeion Group. Class Counsel is
Matthew C. Wolf of Turner Henningsen Wolf & Vandenberg LLP.
30-Second Self-Test: Do I Qualify for the Mattress Settlement?
If you can answer yes to the question below, you are likely a Settlement Class
Member.
• Did you purchase one or more products at a price advertised as a discount
from a higher reference price from Siena, Nectar, DreamCloud, CloverLane, or Awara
between March 1, 2021 and April 10, 2026, and you have not received a refund or
credit for that purchase? Class membership is established by Resident Home's
records of discount purchases during the class period.
If you answered yes, head to the official Settlement Website to file your claim by
July 10, 2026. Excluded from the class are Resident Home's counsel, officers,
directors, and employees, and the judge presiding over the action.
Which Brands and Websites Are Covered?
The Molloy v. Resident Home settlement covers all five mattress and sleep product
brands operated by Resident Home, LLC. Purchases from any of these websites during
the class period may qualify:
• Nectar Sleep (nectarsleep.com) — Resident Home's flagship
mattress brand, covering Nectar mattresses, sheets, pillows, mattress protectors,
and bedroom accessories.
• DreamCloud Sleep (dreamcloudsleep.com) — Resident Home's hybrid
and premium mattress line, including DreamCloud and DreamCloud Premier mattresses.
• Siena Sleep (sienasleep.com) — Resident Home's value mattress
brand, including the Siena Memory Foam Mattress and accessories.
• CloverLane (cloverlane.com) — Resident Home's home goods and
bedding brand.
• Awara Sleep (awarasleep.com) — Resident Home's natural and
organic mattress brand, including Awara latex hybrid mattresses.
All five websites are operated by Resident Home, LLC. Purchases made through
third-party retailers (Amazon, Costco, Walmart, etc.) of these brands are not
covered by the settlement, even if the same brand is sold elsewhere. Only purchases
on the five Resident Home-operated websites during the March 1, 2021 to April 10,
2026 class period qualify.
What Is the $30 Voucher and How Can I Use It?
Each Class Member who submits a valid Claim Form will receive a $30 voucher
redeemable on one or more retail websites operated by Resident Home or its
affiliates. The voucher terms are:
• $30 off a single purchase on Siena, Nectar, DreamCloud, CloverLane, or
Awara websites
• No minimum purchase requirement — the voucher can be applied to
any qualifying purchase regardless of cart total
• Single use only — the voucher must be redeemed in one
transaction
• No residual value — if the purchase amount is less than $30,
the unused portion is forfeited
• Nine-month expiration from the date of distribution
• Not replaceable if lost or stolen
For best value, redeem the voucher on a lower-priced accessory item (pillows, sheets,
mattress protectors, etc.) close to the $30 voucher amount so you capture the
voucher's full value rather than spending much more out of pocket on a higher-cost
mattress purchase. The voucher carries no residual value if you spend less than $30,
so a purchase between $30 and roughly $50 maximizes the practical benefit.
Do I Need Proof of Purchase to File?
You do need to identify yourself as a verified purchaser, but Resident Home already
has its own records of discount purchases during the class period. The claim form
typically asks for:
• The email address used at the time of your Siena, Nectar, DreamCloud,
CloverLane, or Awara purchase
• Your order confirmation number (if you can locate it in your email history or
account)
• The full name and shipping address used at the time of purchase
• The website where the purchase was made
Receipts and screenshots are typically not strictly required because Resident Home
verifies the claim against its own records. However, having your order confirmation
email handy speeds verification significantly. If you no longer have your
confirmation email, search the email address you used at the time for messages from
nectarsleep.com, dreamcloudsleep.com, sienasleep.com, cloverlane.com, or
awarasleep.com, or check your past orders on the brand website (if you created an
account at the time).
How to File a Nectar, DreamCloud, Siena, CloverLane, or Awara Claim
Two methods are available, both with the same July 10, 2026 deadline.
Method 1: Online (recommended for speed). Visit the official Settlement
Website at MolloyPricingSettlement.com. Complete the
online claim form with your purchase identifying information (email used at
purchase, order confirmation number if available, name and shipping address) and
submit. Online claim submissions process faster than mailed claims.
Method 2: U.S. mail. Download the printable claim form from the Settlement
Website or request one from the Administrator. Complete it with your purchase
information and mail it to the Settlement Administrator at the address listed on the
form. Mailed claims must be postmarked no later than July 10, 2026.

Department N-27 of the Superior Court of the State of California, County of San
Diego, located at 325 South Melrose Drive, Vista, CA 92081
When Will I Receive My $30 Voucher?
Vouchers will be distributed only after the court grants final approval at the
September 11, 2026 fairness hearing and after any appeals are resolved.
• Best case (no appeals): Final approval at the September 11, 2026
hearing, appeals window closes 60 days after, voucher distribution begins in late
2026 or early 2027.
• If appeals are filed: Distribution can be delayed by 12 to 36 months
while the appellate court reviews the settlement or fee award.
Important: The voucher expires nine months from the date of distribution. If
distribution occurs in early 2027, the voucher would expire approximately October
2027. Class members should plan to use the voucher within that window or lose it.
Keep the Administrator updated with any email address changes between filing the
claim and receiving the voucher; failure to update can prevent voucher delivery.
Is This the Same as the Ashley Furniture Mattress Fiberglass Settlement?
No. The Molloy v. Resident Home settlement on this page is a separate lawsuit
covering different conduct, even though both lawsuits involve some of the same
mattress brands (Nectar, DreamCloud, and Siena are all Resident Home brands and
also appear in the Ashley Furniture Mattress Fiberglass Settlement). The two cases
cover different alleged misconduct:
• This settlement (Molloy v. Resident Home): covers false reference
pricing on Nectar, DreamCloud, Siena, CloverLane, and Awara websites between March
2021 and April 2026. The benefit is a $30 voucher.
• Ashley Furniture Mattress Fiberglass Settlement: covers allegations
that affected mattresses (including some Resident Home brands) contained fiberglass
that could escape during cover removal. The benefit is a voucher from a $9 million
Common Voucher Fund.
A class member who purchased qualifying mattresses or sleep products during both
class periods may be eligible for both settlements separately. Filing one claim does
not affect eligibility for the other. See the
Ashley Furniture Mattress Fiberglass settlement
page for filing details on the related case.
What Happens If I Do Nothing?
If you do nothing, you remain in the Settlement Class (assuming you do not opt out)
and will be bound by the court's decisions, but you will not receive a voucher.
You will also give up your right to sue Resident Home for the legal claims being
released by the settlement, including future claims related to the false reference
pricing allegations on Nectar, DreamCloud, Siena, CloverLane, and Awara websites.
For class members who qualify, doing nothing means leaving $30 on the table. The
claim takes only a few minutes online if you can locate your order confirmation
email or remember the email address used at purchase. The voucher works on any
purchase across the five Resident Home websites with no minimum, so even small
accessory purchases capture meaningful value from the voucher.
How to Opt Out or Object to the Settlement
Class members who do not want to be bound by the settlement have two alternatives,
both with the same July 10, 2026 deadline.
Opting out means giving up the right to receive the voucher but preserving
the right to sue Resident Home individually for the same claims. Opt-out requests
must be in writing, signed, and submitted to the Administrator by fax, email, or
mail by July 10, 2026. The request must include the case name (Molloy v. Resident
Home LLC, Case No. 25CU057416N), your name, address, telephone number, email, and
original signature, and clearly state that you want to be excluded from the
settlement.
Objecting means staying in the class (and remaining eligible for the voucher)
but asking the court to reject or modify the settlement. Written objections must be
filed with the Superior Court of California, San Diego County, by July 10, 2026, with
copies provided to the Administrator, Class Counsel, and Counsel for Resident Home.
Objections must include the objector's name, current address, telephone, attested
facts supporting class member status, reasons for the objection with supporting
documents, and (if witnesses will appear at the Fairness Hearing) witness
identification and a summary of expected testimony.
Other Active Consumer Goods Class Action Settlements
False reference pricing class actions have become increasingly common as state
attorneys general and private plaintiffs challenge fictitious-discount marketing
tactics across the retail industry. Class members who have received notices from
other retailers about reference-pricing settlements may qualify for separate
settlements; filing one claim does not affect eligibility for any others.
