May 2026 is a strong month for open class action settlements. Eight different cases are
currently accepting claims with deadlines spread across June, July, August, and
September 2026, covering data breaches, banking fees, consumer electronics, and
pet supplements. Most of these settlements are quick to file (under 5 minutes online)
and several stack with each other for California residents thanks to CCPA bonus
payments.
Below are the 8 best class action settlements to file right now. Each entry includes
the eligibility requirements, the typical payout, the filing requirements, and the
claim deadline. Filing one claim does not affect eligibility for any others.
The strongest cash payout in this list for class members who received a notice from
Fidelity. Class members whose financial account information was exposed in the
August 17 to August 19, 2024 Fidelity data breach can claim approximately $100 in
pro rata cash from the $2.5 million Settlement Fund. California residents stack an
additional $50 under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), for a combined
approximately $150 cash payment. Plus two years of free CyEx Financial Shield
Complete credit monitoring with $1 million in fraud insurance. Class members with
documented out-of-pocket losses can claim up to $5,000 in additional reimbursement
with receipts. Class membership is established by Fidelity's notice list.
Claim deadline: July 27, 2026
Fidelity Investments Data Breach Settlement — File Your Claim
The largest fund on this list. Google-Made Device buyers (Google Home, Google Home
Mini, Google Home Max, Google Nest Hub, Google Nest Hub Max, and all Pixel smartphones
purchased May 18, 2016 to March 19, 2026) and Google Assistant users whose
communications were recorded by False Accepts can claim a pro rata share of the $68
million Settlement Fund. The claim form uses self-attestation; no receipts, serial
numbers, or purchase records are required. The point allocation gives 4 points per
Google-Made Device (capped at 3 devices, max 12 points) plus 1 point for Privacy
Class membership.
Claim deadline: August 27, 2026
Google Assistant Privacy Settlement — File Your Claim
A solid baseline data breach claim. Class members who received a notice from Circle
K (Gas Express, LLC) about the May 2024 data breach can claim a flat $50 cash payment
(Cash Payment B) plus two years of free CyEx Financial Shield Complete credit
monitoring with $1 million in fraud insurance. Class members with documented identity
theft losses can alternatively claim up to $2,000 (Cash Payment A, receipts required)
instead of the $50. Note the 700-claim cap on Cash Payment B; file early to avoid the
cap.
Claim deadline: September 3, 2026
Circle K Data Incident Settlement — File Your Claim
The friendliest claim process for current Bank of America customers. Current
accountholders who were double-charged out-of-network balance inquiry fees at
FCTI-owned ATMs inside 7-Eleven stores between May 1, 2018 and November 16, 2021 do
not need to file a claim at all; Bank of America will apply the pro rata payment
from the $2.25 million Settlement Fund directly to the account. Former accountholders
must file a claim by the deadline using the Class Member ID from the Email Notice or
Postcard Notice mailed by the Settlement Administrator. If you cannot locate your
notice, you can request your Class Member ID through the official Settlement Website.
Claim deadline: June 29, 2026
Bank of America ATM Fee Settlement — File Your Claim
The gamer and PC builder pick. Anyone who bought Team Group or T-Force brand DDR-3,
DDR-4, or DDR-5 memory modules between May 3, 2020 and April 8, 2026 can claim a pro
rata share of the $1.1 million Settlement Fund based on the number of modules
purchased. Households claiming up to 5 modules can file by self-attestation;
households claiming 6 or more modules must provide receipts or order confirmations
for the additional products beyond the first 5. Covered product lines include
T-Force Vulcan, Dark, Delta RGB, Xtreem, Night Hawk, Elite, and others.
Claim deadline: July 7, 2026
Team Group DRAM Settlement — File Your Claim
Anyone who bought an affected mattress from Ashley Furniture, Nectar Sleep,
DreamCloud Sleep, or Siena Sleep between October 1, 2017 and June 30, 2024 can claim
a pro rata voucher per Affected Mattress from the $9 million Common Voucher Fund.
The voucher is redeemable at AshleyFurniture.com, NectarSleep.com, DreamCloudSleep.com,
and SienaSleep.com. Filing uses self-attestation; receipts are not required. If
attorneys' fees are awarded at less than $3 million, the difference is paid as pro
rata cash to class members. Note: this settlement uses vouchers rather than cash for
the primary benefit.
Claim deadline: July 17, 2026
Ashley Furniture Mattress Fiberglass Settlement — File Your Claim
Another strong data breach claim with stackable benefits. U.S. residents whose
personal information was exposed in the October 2024 Maxar Space LLC cyberattack
can claim approximately $80 cash for lost time, up to $3,500 in documented
out-of-pocket losses (receipts required for reimbursement), and three years of
free credit monitoring. California residents stack an additional expected $100
CCPA payment. Combined cash for California residents: approximately $180 plus
credit monitoring. Class membership is established by Maxar's notice list.
Claim deadline: July 16, 2026

The California-residents-only pick on this list. California residents who bought
Nutramax Cosequin joint supplements for dogs between May 2016 and May 2022 can
claim $25 per product, up to a maximum of $150 (6 products) by self-attestation.
The settlement resolves claims that Nutramax falsely advertised the joint-health
effectiveness of the supplements. Eligible products include Cosequin DS, Cosequin
Maximum Strength Plus MSM, Cosequin Senior, and other Cosequin variants sold during
the class period. For California residents with multiple dogs who purchased Cosequin
regularly, the full $150 maximum is realistic.
Claim deadline: July 21, 2026

Not a claimable settlement but important context for May 2026: the Blue Cross Blue
Shield $2.67 billion antitrust subscriber settlement officially began distributing
payments on May 11, 2026. Approximately 6 million approved Damages Class members who
filed claims before the November 5, 2021 deadline are now receiving payments in
rolling waves, with virtual prepaid cards as the dominant first-wave delivery method.
The average payout is approximately $333 per claim per USA Today reporting. If you
filed in 2021, check the email you used at filing time and watch for virtual prepaid
card delivery from JND Legal Administration. New claims are not being accepted
because the deadline passed in 2021.

the latest distribution news.
Filing a class action claim takes 2 to 5 minutes for each settlement. The process is
similar across most cases:
• Visit the official Settlement Website. Use the links above to navigate
from each OCA settlement page to the official Settlement Administrator portal. Never
file through a third-party link asking for a fee, gift cards, or cryptocurrency.
• Provide your name, address, and email. The Settlement Administrator
verifies class membership against the defendant's records. For data breach
settlements, you typically need the Class Member ID from the email or postcard
notice mailed to you. For self-attestation settlements (Team Group, Ashley
Furniture, Cosequin), no notice is required.
• Select your benefits. Most data breach settlements have checkboxes for
cash payment, CCPA payment if a California resident, credit monitoring, and
(separately) documented losses reimbursement. The cash payments and credit
monitoring typically require no receipts. The documented losses reimbursement
requires bank statements or receipts.
• Select your payment method. Common options include PayPal, Venmo,
Zelle, virtual prepaid card (delivered by email), or paper check. Electronic
methods are faster than physical check by U.S. mail.
• Submit and save the confirmation. The Settlement Administrator sends
an email confirmation with a claim ID. Save the confirmation in case you need to
follow up about payment status later.
For a California resident who qualifies for multiple settlements, the cumulative
cash and benefits available in May 2026 can be substantial. As an example:
• Fidelity Data Breach: $100 cash + $50 CCPA + 2 years credit monitoring
• Maxar Space Data Breach: $80 cash + $100 CCPA + 3 years credit monitoring
• Circle K Data Incident: $50 cash + 2 years credit monitoring
• Cosequin (California only): up to $150 ($25 per product, 6 products max)
• Google Assistant Privacy: pro rata cash (Google-Made Device buyers and
Privacy Class)
• Bank of America ATM Fee: pro rata cash (auto-applied for current
accountholders)
• Team Group DRAM: pro rata cash per module (PC builders)
• Ashley Furniture Mattress Fiberglass: voucher per mattress
Filing all eligible claims takes approximately 20 to 30 minutes total across the
settlements. The cumulative benefit for a California resident can be a few hundred
dollars in cash plus multiple years of credit monitoring.
Payment timing varies by settlement but follows a similar general pattern:
• Final Approval Hearing: Each settlement has a fairness hearing where the
court grants final approval. For the 8 settlements in this list, fairness hearings
range from July 9, 2026 (Fidelity) through October 1, 2026 (Google Assistant).
• Appeal window: Generally 30 days after final approval. If no appeals are
filed, the settlement becomes effective.
• Payment distribution: Typically 6 to 12 months after the settlement
becomes effective. Realistic distribution timing for the May 2026 settlements is
late 2026 through mid 2027.
• If appeals are filed: Distribution can be delayed by 12 to 36 months
while the appellate court reviews the settlement or fee award.
File your claims now so that when distribution begins, your claim is in the
system and the Settlement Administrator has your current contact information.
With multiple major settlements paying out simultaneously through 2026, scam activity
targeting class members has increased significantly. Treat every email, text, or call
about a class action settlement with appropriate skepticism. Red flags that the
contact is not legitimate:
• Requests for payment up-front. Legitimate class action settlements never
require an "activation fee," "release fee," or "tax payment" to receive your benefit.
• Requests for full Social Security Numbers, banking credentials, gift cards,
or cryptocurrency. Settlement Administrators verify class membership using the
defendant's records, not by asking for fresh sensitive data.
• Shortened or unfamiliar links. Each official Settlement Website is
linked from the OCA settlement page for that case. Avoid bit.ly, tinyurl, or
unfamiliar URLs.
• Urgency or fear-based pressure. Legitimate Administrator emails give
recipients reasonable time to respond. Anyone telling you to act within hours or lose
your settlement is creating false urgency.
